Academic Video Sharing System
Your instructor will provide an access code when they adopt YouSeeU for your class. Some classes require a subscription fee paid for by the student and the fees vary depending on the amount of video that will be used for the class. Once the class is in progress, YouSeeU facilitates the sharing of videos between students and instructors. Your instructor will determine the best ways to implement the features for your specific class and will explain their plans for presentations or video discussions.
If you are assigned a video presentation and your instructor is not using YouSeeU, please let us know. We'll contact your instructor and help them get started with our system.
When you're submitting a video, you can upload using any of the popular video formats (avi, wmv, mov, mpeg, mpeg4). Why go to the trouble of purchasing, producing and formatting DVD's, and then hand delivering or mailing your project to your professor? All of which take time and more money to do. Simply upload your video file through your control panel. It will be routed to your instructor's administration panel for review. All shared videos are protected so they can not be downloaded. At the end of the course you'll have the opportunity to store your video for use in another course or for career search activities.
