Detailed Instruction
1. Navigate to your video panel and scroll down to student videos. If you like you can filter for only videos that do not have comments yet. Simply select the specific assignment and the comments filter becomes available. Click on the thumbnail for the video you want to comment on.
2. To add a comment, simply select the add comment button below when you see the necessity to make a comment. Enter your comment and click on OK.
3. This will add that comment at the exact time element you paused the video.
4. Once you save your sync-comments the icon will change to a green checkmark indicating sync-comments are present for this video as seen below.
Educators
Sync-Comments Student Videos
Educators can use Sync-comments to provide time stamped feedback to students. This is a powerful feedback tool that provides students optimal critique from which they can learn and improve.
Quick Tip
From your video panel scroll down to student videos. Click on the thumbnail for the video you want to add comments to. This will load this video for comments. Simply click "add comment" at the appropriate time. The comments will be time syncronized with the video when the student watches it the next time. Note: all sync-comments are private between you and the specific student.
