Player Controls

This player was specifically developed for educators. It has the feedback mechanism built in to allow educators to effectively coach students in their communication skills.

Quick Tip

The player has some special controls built in. For the most part it acts as any other player. Watch a video in your own library and experiement with what you can do with slides and comments. While experimenting make sure sharing rights are set to share with noone.

Player Controls

1. This is your play/pause button.

2. This is your go back to the beginning of the video control.

3. Use this control if you want to reverse the video quickly in short segments.

4. This is your advance the video quickly control.

5. This is the video description.

6. This is the current time element of the video playback.

7. This is how long the video is in seconds and minutes.

8. This is your volume control.

9. This is your full screen control.

10. This control is used to pause the video and insert a time sequenced comment.

11. This is where the comments show that are synchronized with the video.

12. This control allows you to save your current comments. Acts just as a save button.

13. If you want to copy the comments made about the video, use this control.

14. This is your comment text area where comments appear with the most recent comment appearing at the top.

15. This is your alpha numeric grade box allowing you to score using numbers, percents or word descriptions.

16. This control allows you to save the grade for this particular project.

17. The "next" video control works off the filters as prescribed for student video selection below. It makes it easy for an educator to scroll through a desired list of videos.

18. This is your video player panel.

19. This is your synchronized slide player panel.

20. This is your scrubber bar. It indicates how much of the video has played.
