3 Reasons You Should Be Using YouSeeU’s Question & Answer Activity

YouSeeU has multiple options for video-based activities but my favorite is, “Question & Answer.” This asynchronous activity can be used for just a quick check for understanding or as a way to conduct the case study method online. After students begin the activity and click on “Show Question,” there’s no turning back and they have that one shot to answer that question. Here are three reasons you should be using this for your course, no matter the discipline:

1. It requires a spontaneous response from your students and is therefore authentic assessment.
2. Students prepare more in order to be able to properly answer the question.
3. Educators can determine very quickly if the student “gets it”.
